Hola a todos ayer baje el openSUSE 10.3 y lo instale en mi AMD Sempron 3400+ (socket AM2) que tiene soporte de 64-bit (x86_64) y ustedes diran que tiene que ver la Sempron de DarkGiank con nuestras TX1000 y TX2000, bueno es que esta Sempron que tengo tiene el hardware mas parecido a sus TX1000 y la uso para hacer pruebas.
Comparacion rapida entre Sempron 3400+ y TX1000/TX2000 :
Procesador AMD
Tecnologia 64-bit
Tarjeta de sonido Highdefinition Realtek
Tarjeta de video integrada NVIDIA GeForce 6100 (La TX tiene la 6150)
1 Gigabyte de RAM (900 MB libres, por compartir con la GeForce 6100)
Bueno instale y voalá es 50% mas rapido que el Mandriva! (del KDE y del GNOME Edition) esta basado en KDE el que instale por que sin duda alguna KDE es el mejor ambiente de ventanas para el servidor X11. Aun lo estoy probando en mi Sempron, les dejo el sitio, ocupa 1 CD y está en ingles pero la velocidad es impresionante y viene con KDE 3.5 (Mandriva 3.4xx) y listo para actualizar a KDE 4 (la version Gnome trae GNOME2).
Espero la prueben y 64-bit para todos ! xD

PD. Nunca pense que el explorador de internet Konqueror era tan bueno y rapido (más que Firefox, al estilo Safari).
PD2. Para los amantes del Compiz-fusion, esto se instala aparte justo con los drivers de NVIDIA, asi que a los que les gusta todo facil y no investigar y aprender ABSTENERSE de openSUSE!!.
